Getting Started in Running Kickoff March 19th

Austin Galloway kicks off it’s 12th year of Getting Started in Running Training Program. Getting Started is a 9 week training program with a goal race of the Sunshine 5K. Come try us for a FREE Test run and bring a friend or two you have a 98% chance you’ll still be friends after the training program.

Program covers the A-Z’s of running and includes Galloway running shirt, Jeff Galloway’s Getting Started in Running Book, weekly emails, and some of the best Group Leaders in Austin. This is a Saturday morning training program and starts at 7 am and is about one hour.

Year Round and Fall Marathon Training Programs kick off same day and spot and is a Sunday morning training program First run will be a nice easy 3 miles followed by a shoe seminar and individual shoe recommendations. Being a Austin Galloway member does allow you a discount on shoes.

 

Kickoff will have a short run of 1/2 mile for Getting Started Runners and 3 miles for Year Round and Fall Marathon Runners. With FREE Test runs you can see how the Jeff Galloway Training method  run/walk will help you train while avoiding injuries.
